Itsycal / Applications Folder

Did you launch Itsycal and get the message above? Perhaps you even launched it from the Applications folder and still got the message. Here's why:

Itsycal.app must be manually dragged into the Applications folder in order to function properly. This is because of new security features in macOS 10.12.

In order to comply with this requirement, please do the following:

• If you currently have Itsycal on your system, quit the app and remove all instances of it from your system. You want to start with a clean slate.

• Download Itsycal into your Downloads folder or Desktop. Do not download Itsycal directly into your Applications folder.

• You will have a file called Itsycal.zip in your download location. Do not drag Itsycal.zip into your Applications folder. Instead, double-click Itsycal.zip to unzip it. This will create Itsycal.app. If your browser is configured to automatically unzip archives, you will already have a file called Itsycal.app in your download location and you can skip this step.

• Drag Itsycal.app into your Applications folder.

• Double-click Itsycal.app inside your Applications folder to launch Itsycal.
